Bullet-head models like the Ballyhood Wahoo Wacko run straightest with minimal bounce at 6-10 knots when dropped back into a long pattern.

Pulling heavy weights at speeds up to 16 knots requires robust gear. We recommend a stout 50–100 lb class stand-up or big game rod, such as our custom-built CHAOS ECL Classic Series Rod, paired with a machined-body 50 Wide two-speed lever drag reel (like the Shimano Tiagra 50W or Okuma Makaira 50W). The solid backbone resists the violent strike of a 60 mph fish, while the two-speed retrieve gives you high-speed line pickup when a wahoo charges the boat.
