Swivels

Fishing swivels are small devices that come with two rings and are connected to a pivoting joint. Usually made of metal, a fishing swivel connects to the pivoting joint with a rod and reel that are tied to one end. The main function of the swivel or snap swivel as it is commonly referred to as is to allow the fishing line to untwist when it is being retrieved, thus preventing unwanted tangling.
