First full season without a rebuild.
I ran my old combos five years. Mixed brands, three different drag systems, two reels rebuilt every off-season. When the boat went into refit last fall, I called CHAOS and ordered the Ultimate Full Boat package.

Standard configuration ships in 7-10 business days. Every CHAOS rod is hand-built to order — that is what takes the time. Custom reel swaps (Shimano, Penn, etc.) can add 3-5 days. We send a build update midway through.

Can I customize what is in the package?
Yes. The package is designed as a balanced 8-combo offshore outfit, but you can swap reel brands, request specific rod actions, or upgrade individual combos. Call +1-877-337-9591 and a builder will spec a custom package with you.

Do I really save vs. buying each combo separately?
Yes. The package is priced at about 25% off MSRP of the individual components. Volume pricing on blanks, reels, and the included tackle bundle, plus the spooling and rigging time is included. Not inflated MSRP math — real shop savings.

What is the warranty situation?
Lifetime warranty on the CHAOS rods (manufacturing defects). Reels carry their respective manufacturer warranties — typically 1-2 years on Shimano, similar for other brands. Tackle and accessories included with the package are 90-day defect coverage.

30-day return for unused, unboxed packages. Once a rod has been fished, it is not returnable. If something arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately for a replacement. Custom-spec packages are non-refundable once production starts.
