The Okuma Tesoro Spinning Reels are purpose-built for serious offshore anglers who demand strength, reliability, and all-weather protection in the toughest saltwater environments. Designed from the ground up, these reels combine a fully sealed, IPX-7 waterproof body with a rigid Alumilite frame and side plates to handle extreme pressure and heavy loads. Backed by a powerful drag system, precision gearing, and smooth operation, the Tesoro Spinning Reels deliver the ultimate confidence when targeting big game fish in harsh conditions.

- Carbonite high-output DFD drag with Cal’s drag grease, over 55 lbs max drag
- Custom titanium spool shaft reduces flex & weight
- Oversized brass main gear & C-6191 brass pinion gear, double supported with bearings
- Frictionless main shaft design for smooth operation
- Dual anti-reverse system for strength & reliability
- Rigid machined aluminum screw-in handle, rotor brake, and manual bail trip
- Available in 7 sizes: 4000–20,000 with gear ratios from 6.2:1 to 4.4:1
- Interchangeable screw-in handle for left- or right-hand retrieve
Select from standard spooling options listed in the drop-down menu above, or let us know how you would like your reel spooled. Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we'll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
