Engineered to perform in the most demanding of circumstances, the Shimano Terez BW Uni-Butt Full Roller Conventional Rods are equipped to dominate the heaviest trolling applications. Built on Shimano's most advanced blanks to date, the Terez BW rods benefit from three proprietary Shimano blank technologies — Hi-Power X, Spiral X, and UD Glass construction. Spiral X construction consists of multiple layers of carbon tape that tightly wind the blank diagonally in opposite directions, resulting in enhanced torsional rigidity without adding extra weight. UD Glass greatly enhances rod strength while retaining the ability to flex. This combination of rod technologies increases the structural rigidity of the rods so that they remain true under load while enabling anglers to efficiently transfer power through the blank for much needed fighting power in heavy offshore applications. Equipped with a full set of Winthrop roller guides and tip, the Terez BW Full Roller Rods are ready to take on some of the most powerful game fish in the sea, including the mighty Bluefin Tuna. These rods are sold as blade-only, allowing anglers to pair them with whatever straight, bent, or adjustable uni-butt best suits their application.
