The Hooker Electric Shimano Tiagra 80W is designed to target everything from large swordfish, sharks, wahoo, grouper, to snapper and amberjack. Powered by 12VDC 2HP brush-less motor, this electric reel has variable speed control with no torque loss, duel speed wireless remote, and a fully functional handle. If you already own a Shimano Tiagra 80W or 130 we can mount your reel for you. You would need to send the reel to us for retro fit. All Hooker Electric products are custom ordered.

Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we'll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
