Engineered for heavy-duty use, the Abu Garcia Veritas PLX Toro Casting Rods are built to take the abuse of large, hard-pulling predators. Perfect for pairing with Abu Garcia’s line of low-profile Toro reels, the Abu Garcia Veritas PLX Toro Casting Rods are designed with 30 ton carbon fibers that are covered with an advanced 3M Powerlux 100 resin, resulting in a 15% stronger, 5% lighter, more sensitive construction.
Maximizing the performance of each cast, the Abu Garcia Veritas PLX Toro Casting Rods are fitted titanium alloy guides with lightweight zirconium inserts, which have been carefully placed along the blank using ROCS (Robotically Optimized Casting System) guide placement. Complete with closed cell EVA grips and custom reel seats, the Abu Garcia Veritas PLX Toro Casting Rods combine state of the art manufacturing technology with bolstered strength that stands up to big fish.

Customization Option
CHAOS Rods are built one at time in our Florida shop. For that reason, we can customize your rods to meet your needs. We can alter the length of rods or grips to your preference, and change guides and components as requested. We can also personalize the appearance of your rod to match an existing set, add your initials or boat name, or completely customize the rod color, wrap, and even add an image of the target species on the rod.
