The STSP 15-50 is one of the toughest e-glass spinning rods you'll find. Using a fast taper blank allows us to deliver both a sensitive tip and a ton of backbone. Whether used with kite and live bait for sailfish, pitching to a school of dolphin, or pulling amberjack off the bottom, you'll understand why we call this a stand-up spinner once you hook into a big fish.
We build it tough, with Fuji's heaviest duty spinning guides underwraped and then double overwrapped to the blank for strength. These rods are regularly used with 30-60 lb. mono or 50-80 lb. braid for everything from kingfish to white marlin. Some customers even use these rods for light inshore trolling.
