The SHIMANO TLD Lever Drag Reel combines lightweight construction with proven reliability for serious offshore anglers. Built to withstand the harshest saltwater conditions, this reel delivers years of dependable performance when it matters most. The advanced A-RB stainless-steel ball bearings are specially treated to resist corrosion, offering up to ten times longer lifespan than standard stainless-steel bearings in high-salinity environments. Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we'll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
