These High Speed, Compact Leverdrags, with Powerful Gears and Drag Curves were designed for fly-lining live baits or chunks into the chum line on Long Range Stand-Up Tuna Boats, utilizing PowerPro with short top shots. Small Reel - Big Fish! The TAC8II and TAC10II were designed for fishing 40-50lb PowerPro with a 30-40 Fluorocarbon leader (up to 13 lbs of drag at strike and 20 lbs at full), whereas the TAC12II and TAC16II were designed for fishing 65lb-80lb PowerPro with a 60lb-80lb Fluorocarbon top shots (up to 22lbs of drag at strike and 40 lbs. at full).

This Seminoles inspired KC series brings the composite resin material technologies to our live bait offering. By combining graphite and e-glass we deliver a lighter and stronger rod, with a faster action and crisper tip. Use this anywhere you've used our K15-50 and you'll immediately notice the weight reduction and slightly faster action. Like all our live bait rods we start with an extra fast-taper blank and add tough Fuji Aluminum Oxide guides, underwraping and then double overwrapping the guides for strength. The soft tip for sensitivity quickly stiffens to a powerful backbone for pulling in big fish. Ideally suited for 15-25 lb. line, our customers regularly live bait pilchards, goggle eyes, and blue runners for sailfish, dolphin, wahoo, tuna, and kingfish with this rod.
