The addition of Shimano's innovative Infinity Drive technology leverages a new drag design to increase drag force while reducing side-load pressure to produce up to 30% lighter rotation during tough battles and high-drag situations. The new generation of Talica now features X-Protect technology to boast high-level water resistance in vital areas to improve durability without sacrificing a light gear feel. The included Light-Line Drag Cam provides added versatility with a lower drag curve for anglers fishing monofilament or lighter fluorocarbon leaders. These new reels feature a HAGANE Body made of highly-rigid aluminum to reduce the reel's overall weight while eliminating reel body flex, warp, and distortion to allow for smooth reeling with minimal power loss during challenging battles. Improving on its S-Compact body design, the palming side plate is an additional 6% smaller than the previous generation.

The KC series brings the newest composite resin material technologies to our live bait offering. By combining graphite and e-glass we deliver a lighter and stronger rod, with a faster action and crisper tip. Use this anywhere you've used our K15-50 and you'll immediately notice the weight reduction and slightly faster action. Like all our live bait rods we start with an extra fast-taper blank and add tough Fuji Turbo guides, under wrapping and then double overwrapping the guides for strength. The soft tip for sensitivity quickly stiffens to a powerful backbone for pulling in big fish. Ideally suited for 15-25 lb. line, our customers regularly live bait pilchards, goggle eyes, and blue runners for sailfish, dolphin, wahoo, tuna, and kingfish with this rod.
