The new Stella SW builds on that tradition and brings unmatched strength, reliability and ease of use to serious saltwater anglers. Featuring a HAGANE Body, Stella SW boasts a highly rigid metal construction for improved impact resistance and less body flex. At the heart of the reel, state of the art HAGANE Gears are cold-forged for lasting durability and smoothness. Infinity Drive Technology offers an improved winding experience, optimizing winding torque by up to 30%. SilentDrive further improves smoothness by eliminating worm shaft and drive gear play. Stella SW incorporates a new Shimano Heatsink Drag to improves performance by transferring heat away from the spool, reducing the spool-surface temperature by up to 100 degrees. X-Protect and X-Shield ensure your investment is guarded against the harsh elements of a saltwater environment so you can fish with confidence. The new Stella SW is lighter, more powerful and more reliable than ever before.

Select from standard spooling options listed in the drop-down menu above, or let us know how you would like your reel spooled. Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we'll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
