It's true digital line counter can be calibrated to different line diameters, powering an autostop feature for effortless hands-free retrieval, complemented by a manual override if you wish to manually run the speed control. The robust brushless motor delivers exceptional drag capabilities, accommodating a wide range of fishing styles from chicken rigs to sailfish kites. Included in the kit are the reel itself, a powerful 5AH lithium-ion battery, and a dedicated charger, ensuring you're fully equipped for any angling adventure.

Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we’ll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.

Yes, nearly all modern electric reels include a standard manual handle. You can continue to hand-crank your line and fight fish using manual physical power if you lose electrical connectivity.
Reels ship empty. Free spooling service with reel purchase at our Pompano Beach shop — bring your line of choice. Most tackle shops will also spool with proper tension. We do not recommend spooling at home unless you have a line winder.
No, the internal memory retains your tracking data. The digital chip features a short-term backup memory that holds your current depth calculation during a quick battery swap. To prevent any tracking errors, it is still best practice to swap batteries while your rig is at the boat, but a mid-drop swap will not completely ruin your line count calibration.
You can use a standard conventional rod. Because the battery integrates directly into the reel, there are no bulky external battery boxes or power cords to get in the way. As long as your rod has a heavy-duty reel seat that fits a standard conventional reel foot, it will mount securely without needing a specialized "electric" curved butt or component modifications.
