Sharing its Monocoque body with the premium Saltiga, the Certate SW eliminates the conventional side plate and screw system, using an engine plate to secure the large G1 duralumin drive gear—also found in the Saltiga. This innovative body and gear combination propelled the Saltiga to fame and is set to make the Certate SW a leader in strength and power. The latest Certate SW generation boasts exceptional rigidity and lightness thanks to its Zaion rotor design. This feather-light design ensures easy and highly responsive rotation of the reel's bail and rotor. The Certate SW features a Magseal line roller and body, along with MQ construction, providing exceptional protection against the elements and ensuring the reel's reliability for many seasons. The multi-layer carbon drag system delivers a 10x boost in drag durability, with an improved washer design and aluminum drag knob enhancing heat dissipation for better drag performance when handling heavy loads.

Spooling Option

Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we’ll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
