DAIWA 2026 Freams LT Spinning Reel
The DAIWA 2026 Freams LT is a lightweight hybrid spinning reel engineered for freshwater and inshore saltwater use. MAGSEALED technology protects the main shaft from saltwater corrosion, silt, and algae, delivering extended smoothness and durability. AIRDRIVE DESIGN components—including a weight-reducing spool with raised skirt edge, balanced ZAION V rotor, and reinforced tubular bail—maximize sensitivity while eliminating vibration. All components are housed in a light, rigid ZAION V body that enhances drag response and line management.
Features:
- AIRDRIVE BAIL: To reduce weight by up to 33%, the Airdrive Bail is designed with a smaller diameter to retain strength while reducing the overall weight of the front unit. To improve line management, the bail is angled specifically to more easily guide the line through the roller.
- AIRDRIVE ROTOR: New and improved Rotor reduces weight significantly while maintaining strength for smooth and seamless rotation.
- AIRDRIVE SPOOL: To further reduce weight, the new spool skirt was engineered to improve oscillation, reducing resistance for improved overall balance
- MAGSEALED BODY: A Magnetized oil seal in the main shaft of the rotor keeps the engine room of your reel protected from the elements and unnecessary wear.

Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we'll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
