AVET HX 5/2 2SPD Lever Drag Conventional Reel
The AVET HX 5/2 Two-Speed Lever Drag Reel is built for serious offshore anglers, combining precision engineering with rugged durability. Machined from 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum and stainless steel, it delivers strength without unnecessary weight, while its anodized finish provides lasting corrosion resistance and a sleek look. A powerful lever drag system, smooth carbon fiber drags, and stainless steel gears give this reel the stopping power and reliability needed for big-game fishing, while ergonomic refinements like the offset handle arm and soft-touch knob ensure comfort and control during long battles. Select from standard spooling options listed in the drop-down menu above, or let us know how you would like your reel spooled. Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we'll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
