Big brother to the best selling K15-50, the K30-60 delivers a slightly stronger backbone for larger tuna, wahoo, marlin, and live baiting larger bottom species like Amberjack and Grouper. We start with a fast-taper e-glass blank and add tough Fuji Turbo guides, underwraping and then double overwrapping the guides for strength. The softer tip for stiffens to a powerful backbone for pulling in big fish. Ideally suited for 25-40 lb. line, our customers regularly live bait goggle eyes, blue runners, and tuna for white marlin, dolphin, wahoo, and tuna with this rod. Our Florida Gulf customers also use this rod for trolling for grouper and many battle-wagons use the K30-60 as a pitch rod when bait and switch is the strategy of the day.
