Tackle Crafters

Tackle Crafters has been family owned and operated for 3 generations.  The family patriarch, Captain Mario Pagano, was a successful charter boat captain in New England.  He fished the waters off Point Judith, Rhode Island in a boat that was aptly named the "Fishtrap”.  Captain Mario had a reputation among his fellow charter boat captains for being "on the fish.”   While he caught a variety of species such as bluefish, codfish, yellow fin tuna and white marlin, he specialized in catching giant Bluefin Tuna.  Mario was blessed with two sons, David and Mark, both of which shared their father’s passion for fishing and joined him at very young ages in the charter boat business, both becoming successful captains in their own right.
