The Daiwa Tanacom 500 Power Assist Reel is a new size offering in the Dendoh Reel lineup for the US market. Weighing in at only 28.2oz, this reel will allow anglers to use electric reels for new applications such as bunker spoon trolling, light wreck fluking, and more. While this reel is super light, it is also extremely powerful with 33lbs of drag that allows it to still be used for targeting tilefish and other deep water dwellers. Its variable speed control and jigging mode feature also makes this reel even more versatile than other electric reels.

Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we'll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
