Between 1938 and 1941, while the great depression raged, the US’s Works Progress Administration and National Parks Service joined forces to create the Federal Art Project (FAP), a New Deal initiative to hire unemployed artists to produce a series of posters for 14 keystone National Parks. These posters have become intertwined with the parks in the world’s psyche for generations.

Taking its inspiration from the bold styling, brilliant details and color palette of the FAP’s posters and the parks that in turn inspired them, the Zeal Optics Fremont brings a striking new design to an everyday sunglass shape that stands out, while being eminently functional. Featuring rubberized finish, plant-based Z-Resin frames (containing a minimum of 45% bioresin), poppy color hits in its ProFlex temples and spring hinges, Fremont packs comfort and hold for all-day backcountry adventures, while its smooth lines and rectangular lenses provide timeless styling.
