The smallest reel in the renowned Seaborg lineup, the Daiwa Seaborg 300J-DH Electric Reel is an unbeatable option for hand-held power assist fishing. This compact and powerful electric reel allows anglers to easily catch hard fighting bottom fish at depths of over 1000 feet. The new Seaborg 300J-DH is specially made for deep dropping and deep jigging. It is the most advanced reel that allows anglers to fish in the depths with both the rod and reel in hand, making this fishing style both thrilling and user-friendly for anglers. The jog power lever can be adjusted to control the retrieve speed, and the integrated MagSeal bearing ensures smooth performance. Equipped with Daiwa's innovative MagMax G motor and ATD drag system with a maximum pressure of 35 pounds, this reel is designed to handle deep-sea catches like grouper, snapper, and tilefish, as well as other deep-dwelling species.

Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we'll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
