The PENN Squall II Lever Drag is a powerful reel in a lightweight package. The Squall II LD boasts a stainless steel main and pinion gear for a smooth and durable gear train. The Dura-Drag™ system will make quick work of any dolphin or king, while having the power to stop that surprise wahoo when he tries to overpower your reel! The Squall II LD features the Pull-to-Turn Preset knob which eliminates accidental changes to drag.

Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we'll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.
